NASCAR is Playing in Our Faces

NASCAR is trying to play Bubba Wallace and the Black community like we are dumb; they should have listened to the album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, before trying to pull the old okie doke. But a leopard never changes its spots, and NASCAR has proven they want their lone Black driver to simply “shut up and drive.”

A few days ago, a noose was found in the garage where Bubba Wallace’s racecar is housed. Let’s be clear about a few things. It wasn’t Bubba who found it! It was a member of the pit crew, who then brought it to the attention of a NASCAR executive. Bubba was notified. Trump’s FBI came in to pretend to investigate, and decided the “noose” was a garage door slip tie. No racism to see here! Well, I’m calling bullshit!

The FBI claims that the string had been there since October of 2019 (eight months). This garage had a previous owner, a whole pit crew, and nobody recognized this until a few days ago. I call bullshit again.

The FBI searched several other garages, and not one had a similar rope, fashioned the exact same way. They even released a photo of the “rope” today, and clearly it was a noose, as anyone with Black skin can identify one, as one of our biggest fears as that we will be on the receiving end of one.
