Lil Nas X: Minding Your Own Business and Your Genitals

Lil Nas X, a beyond measure talented 20 year old, who rapped his way into the hearts of million, with his Billy Ray Cyrus (that’s Miley Cyrus’ daddy, for all of you under the age of 35) with the smash hit, Old Town Road. The song is an eclectic mix of Hip Hop meeting Country, and the result is a song, which is on stride to break record set by the late Whitney Houston, The Beatles, Elvin, and almost everyone else in music history by securing the number one spot on music charts for over 13 consecutive weeks.

This time last year, Lil Nas X, was couch surfing with his sister, submitting his “beats” to indie music sites, producing memes, working social media, and just hoping for a break. Now one year later, he’s gone from that, to selling out arenas, performing for grade school kids nationwide, international tour dates, and even at the recent BET Awards.

With all of this success and him being a mere 20 years old, one would think people would be celebrating, but you have more faith in human nature than I do. Around July 4th, Lil Nas X, made a startling announcement via a tweet, that he was gay. It’s 2019, this really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone or even an afterthought, but heterosexuals, who are dregs of society with their highly immoral, yet judgmental selves, have made him the fodder of their jokes.
